Ibrahim Sharar
CS grad passionate about software development, analytics, and AI. Currently at Sony Music Entertainment turning streaming data into decisions.

I'm a recent Computer Science graduate with a strong interest in software development, data analytics, and AI. What excites me most is using technology to solve real problems, improve decision-making, and build things that actually make a difference.
I'm currently an Audience Intelligence and Insights Intern at Sony Music Entertainment, where I help build and maintain dashboards that support campaign tracking, performance analysis, and decision-making across digital platforms. A big part of my role is taking complex information and turning it into clear, actionable insights that help teams understand what is working, where momentum is building, and where new opportunities might exist. I also support broader analysis around audience trends and developing tracks to contribute to bigger strategic conversations.
My experience also includes software development work in high-impact environments where performance and reliability really matter. At St. Michael's Hospital, I worked on MDLogBook, a healthcare application where I redesigned backend API data retrieval processes, improving response times by more than 90% and helping create a faster, more dependable experience for clinical users. Beyond that, I've built GPU-accelerated transcription pipelines, trained reinforcement learning agents to play Blackjack autonomously, and developed a RAG-powered document generator for small businesses using local LLMs. I've also supported remote work tied to the automotive market in the UAE, contributing to operations around salvaged vehicle sales and gaining exposure to the business, operational, and analytical side of that space.
At the core of it all, I enjoy building things that are fast, reliable, and genuinely useful. Whether it's a dashboard, software system, or AI project, I want my work to have real impact. I learn quickly, adapt easily, and do my best work where technical problem-solving meets practical business value.
